Tin ingot

  1. Silver-white metal, soft, with good ductility. The melting point is 232 C and the density is 7.29g/cm3. Non-toxic
  2. Tin is a silvery white and soft metal. It is similar to lead and zinc, but looks brighter. It has low hardness and can be cut with a knife. It has good ductility, especially when the temperature is 100 C, it can develop into very thin tin foil, the thickness can be thinner than 0.04 mm.
  3. Tin is also a low melting point metal, with a melting point of only 232 degrees Celsius, so it can be melted with a candle flame to resemble a mercury-like liquid with good fluidity.
Main uses:
1.It can be used as coating material and has a wide range of applications in food, machinery, electrical appliances, automotive, aerospace and other industrial sectors.
2.In float glass production, molten glass floats on the surface of molten tin pool to cool and solidify.
3.Tin is easily bound to iron. It is used as an anticorrosive coating for lead, zinc and steel. Tin-coated steel tanks are mostly used for food storage, which is an important market for tin metal.
Other uses:
Tin is a component of some important alloys, such as lead-tin alloys, bronze and pasteurized alloys.
Tin chloride is used as a reducing agent and mordant in printing. Tin salt sprayed on glass can form conductive coatings. These coatings are used on antifreeze glass.
Generally, glass plate is formed by pouring molten glass on tin plate to ensure the flat and smooth surface of glass.
Soldering tin is used to connect pipes and electronic circuits. In addition, tin is also used in many chemical reactions.
Tin paper is often used to pack food or medicine.
Tin-plated iron (tinplate) can be used to prevent rust and make canned containers.
Organotin can be used as a reagent for the synthesis of organic compounds. Its functions include reducing functional groups, creating free radicals and rearranging organic molecules.
Inspection Rule:
1 Inspection and Acceptance
    1. Tin ingots shall be inspected by the supplier's technical supervision department to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this standard and to fill in the quality certificate.
    2. Requirers may inspect and accept received tin ingots in accordance with the provisions of this standard. If the inspection results are not in conformity with the provisions of this standard (or the order contract), they should be submitted to the supplier within two months from the date of receipt of tin ingots, which shall be settled through consultation between the supplier and the buyer. If arbitration is required, sampling inspection shall be carried out jointly by both suppliers and consumers or by an inspection institution approved by both suppliers and consumers.
Tin reserves:
China's tin reserves account for 28% of the world's tin reserves, ranking first. Tin and tungsten, antimony and rare earth are considered as China's four strategic resources, which belong to a small number of China's strategic resources with pricing capacity. Tin industry shares (000960) account for about 35% of China's tin reserves and 10% of the world's tin resources. Tin stock has been expanding its resource share since it was listed for six years. The new resource reserves each year exceed the exploitation, and the tin resource reserves have not decreased. In 2007, it is estimated that 17,000 tons of tin concentrate will be produced by itself (about 4.5% of the world's tin concentrate), 54,000 tons of tin concentrate will be produced (about 15% of the world's total tin concentrate output ranks the first in the world, and 80,000 tons of controllable capacity will be reached in the next two years, accounting for more than 20% of the world's total tin concentrate output). At present, the self-sufficiency rate of tin concentrate is about 31%.
